Through structured and well-organised carnivals, IGSSA fosters a spirit of competition and camaraderie among students while promoting lifelong engagement with sports.
Swimming
A traditional Swimming Carnival in Term 1 including Individual Events in Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Butterfly & Freestyle & Medley Relay events.
Cross Country
A one-day carnival In Term 2 that sees our schools competing in a Cross Country running course over 3km or 4km.
Athletics
Traditional Track & Field Athletics Carnival in Term 3 includes Sprints, Hurdles, Middle-Distance & Relay track events, and Field events in Shot-Put, Discus, Javelin, Long-Jump & High-Jump.
